Franz Stehle displayed this frozen fox outside his family’s hotel in Fridingen, Germany on the upper reaches of the Danube River. It served as a warning of the dangers of the river.
Apparently, Stehle said he had also seen frozen animals such as deer and wild boar.
What a find!
