Montana wolf hunting and trapping has slowed down a bit, but the harvest total is still on the rise! As of now, the total number of wolves harvested in the state, according to FWP, is 213 with the only Wolf Management Units closed being 313 and 316. The wolf trapping season in the state ends on February 28th while hunting wolves continues through March 15th.
