John Locke of Frenchtown shot a HUGE bull moose last week in Missoula County!! The moose measured 48″ wide, and the green Boone and Crockett score will easily make the book in the mid range area.
He shot the bull at 100 yards with his 30-06. He killed it at 800 AM and actually finished packing quarters and all meat at 330 PM. John was helped in the hunt by his 35 year old son, Jon.
