Grilling fresh fruits is amazing. Plan this recipe for a dessert on your next Killer Grillin session.

Pears or Peaches make perfect Grill candidates.

1 tbsp. lemon juice

4 tbsp. melted butter

¼ tsp vanilla

4 pears or peaches

2 tbsp. sugar

Cut them in half and remove the pits. In a small bowl, combine lemon juice, butter, and vanilla. Brush this over the fruit. Grease the grill before laying them onto it. You can also use foil. You will not need a high heat for this. Medium heat is perfect.

Grill for about 10-15 minutes and place onto dessert plates. The sugars caramelize nicely and leave wonderful grill marks. If desired, drizzle some liqueur or chocolate syrup over top. Adding some whipped cream or ice cream is never a bad idea. Adding a graham cracker or cookie on the side doesn’t hurt either.

You can also mix it up with mixed grilled fruits on a kabob. Once grilled, serve along side a bowl of ice cream, maybe some whipped cream, or a drizzle of crème fresh.
