Here’s the latest from Fins and Feathers on Spring Creeks–they give the fishing a 3/5:

The Spring Creeks are fishing pretty well. There should be some Caddis out and about and some fish on the surface keying in on these bugs. Nymphing is still the most effective with Caddis Larva, Micro Mays, San Juan Worms, Hare’s Ears, Zebra Midges, sowbugs/scuds, and Skinny Nelsons. It is a good idea to have a variety of Caddis flies in order to figure out what these pickier spring creek fish are targeting, so Larvas, Pupas, & Adults will help you narrow this down. Use sensitive indicators, long leaders(9-10ft 5x), and light fluorocarbon tippet.
