Current Conditions:

The Stillwater River high right now and won’t be a great option until flows begin dropping.  This is a swift river and with too much water you are just blasting down the river.

The Month Ahead:

The Stillwater should produce some great fishing in late June or early July when run off slows down.  The attractor dry fly eat is always fun on the Stillwater as the river compresses and water temps rise in July.

 Long Term Fishing Forecast:

The Stillwater is a great early summer fishery and should produce some very nice action in all of July and into mid August this season.  While nymphing is productive the dry fly fishing can also be very good on most days.
