The salmon fishing at Georgetown was pretty good on Wednesday, but slowed down a lot on Thursday. I kept 17 on Wednesday and released that many. Thursday only kept 6 but released about a dozen 1 year old fish. It is good to see lots of the 1 year olds, means more two and three year old fish in the next few years. Was using a red rocker jig tipped with maggots. 19 to 20 feet of water. As ususal the trout bite was still good. I would not recommend going out this weekend as there is 17 inches of snow on the lake with 10 inches of slush. And 7 inches of ice, sketch with a snowmobile, no way to get a quad on the ice.
