We are looking for volunteers to join us this summer for the SBFC St. Mary Trailhead Ambassador Program.
In partnership with the Bitterroot National Forest, the SBFC Trailhead Ambassadors educate trail users about trail safety, how to be prepared for their hike, responsible trail use, and Leave No Trace principles. Trailhead Volunteer Ambassadors also record visitor use information and may perform routine trailhead maintenance.
Trailhead Ambassadors will be stationed at the St. Mary trailhead on Saturdays and Sundays in July and August, 2022. Volunteers are needed for 3-hour morning, afternoon, or full-day shifts. A virtual training will be provided in June.
