In a truly astonishing event, a bear unleashed its might, tearing into the side of a camper at Gorges State Park in Sapphire, N.C., on Wednesday. The sheer power of nature on display!

North Carolina State Parks and Recreation even captured the incredible moment with a photo shared on their social media. Remarkably, all visitors and the bear emerged unscathed from this remarkable encounter.

To ensure everyone’s safety and allow for necessary repairs, the campground will be temporarily closed for two weeks. But here’s the “wow” part: for those with reservations scheduled until November 16, full refunds are on the way.

The park remains open during the day.
