Fresno is 21% full. Most fishing is slow. For perch and crappie jig near the dam in as deep of water you can find. Put out tip ups in same area with salted minnows for walleye and northerns. Nelson is 75% full. Good catches of perch and walleye have been reported. Jig for perch in the deeper basin areas. Walleye and northern are being taken on tip ups with live minnows especially in the weedier areas. Both reservoirs have about 2 feet of ice. The snow has been melting and lots of water pockets are forming on the ice. Beware of pressure ridges and gas pockets. Good fishing!
