It was the end of this angler’s last day of trout fishing. He was letting his fly drift downstream as he waded toward the spot where he’d climb out of the river, when he heard crashing and trampling in front of him and to his left. Two figures ran along the bank and headed off to the right — a buck, and the coyote chasing it. Not a friendly game of tag. He stayed still, not knowing where they might show up next, and a minute or two later he could still hear them, so he took out his phone and opened the camera. You’ll have to enlarge the video to make out what happened — he didn’t take the time to fiddle with the range. Quite an ending for the fishing season.
