The Ice on Hebgen is fantastic this year. Up around the Narrows Area.
Ice thickness is anywhere from 8 to 11 inches with this recent storm that brought snow.
It certainly created some challenges soaking up some of the water and creating a little bit of slush as you can see in the photos.
Today down at the dam, 6″ of solid ice and 2″ of slush due to yesterday’s snow fall.
