Imagine going on an office retreat, hiking up a mountain, and getting left behind by your co-workers—awkward, right? That’s exactly what happened to one Colorado man who got disoriented after reaching the summit of Mount Shavano, according to the New York Post. While his group hiked down, he was left struggling to find his way alone. A nasty storm hit, cutting off his cell service, and things got pretty rough.
Luckily, he regained service just in time to call 911, and search and rescue teams eventually found him after he spent a tough night on the mountain. Moral of the story: don’t hike alone, and maybe wear something brighter than all black!
