Don Wilkins’ Weekly Fort Peck Fishing Report 8.28.26

Walleye-crawlers on slow death hooks and bouncers is still turning up some good numbers of fish still. We found fish from 25-28 FOW,sometimes out to just over 30. A single red 10mm bead worked best for us most of the week

Pike-trolling crankbiats in 20-35 feet is still putting the best fish in the boat. Water temps need to come down a bit before the fish start to move up shallower on the weed beds

Salmon– caught fish this week out in 180 FOW all the way in too 35 FOW. Blackjaw flies Ghost fly and an 8” Salmon Candy Jaxson Barracuda caught a couple and bright blue/green fly on an 11” green flasher worked for us as well. Best trolling depth was 70 to 105 feet and trolling speed was 2.1-2.3
