Crews Bring Glasgow Back to Light After Power Outage

Thursday night turned into a long, frustrating one for a lot of folks around Glasgow when the power suddenly went out for more than 3,100 Northwestern Energy customers around 11 p.m, KLTZ Glasgow reported on social media. The problem actually started with a transmission line owned by WAPA, but crews were able to work around the damaged equipment at the Fort Peck facility and slowly get the lights back on by about 12:17 a.m.

It’s never fun sitting in the dark wondering how long an outage will last—especially that late at night—but thankfully this one was resolved fairly quickly, and crews are continuing to make sure the power stays reliable for Glasgow and the surrounding communities.
