Venison Chops And Spuds

What you need.

Four venison steaks

Salt and pepper to taste

Two cloves garlic – minced

Four table spoons butter

Eight ounces fresh button mushrooms – halved

Four large red potatoes – quartered

One package frozen broccoli tips

 

What you do. In a large skillet, sprayed with vegetable oil, set heat to medium-high heat. Add two tablespoons of butter and fry the steaks until medium done. While cooking salt and pepper to taste. Remove from pan and keep warm. In the same fry pan add the other two tablespoons of butter, the garlic and mushrooms. While these are cooking put the potatoes in a microwave safe bowl, add two tablespoons butter and cover with clear plastic wrap and cook on high for six to eight minutes or until tender. Remove from oven and then microwave broccoli as per directions on packaging. The mushrooms should be done at about the time the potatoes and broccoli are done. On individual plates place a steak, potatoes and broccoli. Spoon the mushrooms and drippings from the pan over the meat and potatoes and enjoy.
