With Warmer Weather It Is Time To Fire Up The BBQ: Red Hot Venison Burgers Recipe
What you need.
Two pounds ground venison burger or other big game
Two tablespoons your favorite Cajun seasoning
Sliced purple onions
One seeded jalapeno pepper – diced fine
Quarter cup hamburger relish – mix with the jalapeno pepper
Sliced cheese of choice – pepper jack cheese goes well
Thick sliced bacon – cook ahead of time
Onion rolls or kaiser rolls
One large sliced tomato
What you do.
Mix the Cajun seasoning with the ground game and make quarter pound patties. Blend the jalapeno with the hamburger relish. Grill the burgers until medium done and place a patty on bottom half of bun that has been prepared with the relish and a piece of lettuce. Some folks like to brown each half of bun on the grill before putting anything on the bun halves. Next add the cheese, bacon, purple onion and a slice of tomato. Serve with fresh cold sliced melons and cold beverage. As you can see it only takes a short bit of tome to prepare and enjoy.
