Montana Hunting and Fishing Reports 1/31/15

The warm weather is leading to some sloppy and messy ice across the state. But, those willing to brave the ice, are hooking into some good fish. Hear the latest outdoor reports from around the state, from the most recent episode of the Montana Outdoor Radio Show.

-Bill Brown at Bob Wards says Brown’s Lake is doing. In Hamilton the river fishing is doing really well.
-Brett French Outdoor editor of the Billings Gazette describes his weekly article at Montanaoutdoor.com.
-Chancy at Snappy’s says Bitterroot Lake has a good 6-8 inches across the lake.
-Dale at Don’s in Lewistown says For Shed Bay has had some good reports this past week.
-Dallas at Highline Cleaners in Chester says the ice isn’t the greatest so don’t drive on it, and there was a 41 inch Northern caught last week.
-Eddie White with The Minnow Bucket in Huntley says be careful out there with the warmer weather and there is still fishing from the shores on Crooked Creek.
Gene Fincher the Happy Hooker discusses the various tournaments in Montana and the Upcoming Perch Pounder.
-Jim at Westside Sports says there is still some good out there in areas.
-John Harris from Lakeside Resort in Trout Creek says Noxon Rapids Reservoir the ice is starting to build up.
-Leonard from Roberts Bait and Tackle says the ice on Holter is not safe.

-Tammy from Northwest Sports in Eureka says the fishing has been hot and not with reports from Glen Lake.
-Tyler from Rocky Mountain Supply in Dillon says the Ice Fishing Tournament was great for participants.
Trevor Johnson of Kits Tackle says check the weather and there is awesome fishing opportunities in the Helena area.
-Woody from Woody’s Lures in Townsend says the area ice is not safe, but the river fishing is doing well.
