When I was a little girl in eastern Texas, catching crawdads was one of my favorite activities. I was telling one of my Montana friends how much fun it was the other day and lo and behold, while the Crawdad State of Louisiana is far away, you can apparently catch the little mudbugs in some Montana lakes during the summer. I didn’t believe it at first, but then I found this video of the critters filtering around McGregor Lake. I have another thing to put on my summer to-do list.
