– Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced the seventh edition of its Friday Evening programs will be held this Friday, July 7th from 8 to 9pm.

Noted author and historian Ellen Baumler presents “Ghosts of the Last Best Place”. This is a series of thought-provoking true tales of Montana’s haunted places. Weaving the past with the present, Ellen’s well researched history provides the backdrop for eerie events and ghostly encounters that will have you looking over your shoulder and craving more!

Ellen is an interpretive historian at the Montana Historical Society and host of the show “History on the Go” on Cherry Creek Radio. In her spare time, she has made a hobby out of investigating the history behind Montana’s ghosts and haunted places. She has shared some stories with us in the past, so we are excited to hear some more this year!
