We are still hoping for that ice to come. Soon, very soon. In the meantime a little action here and there on the lakes and river.
Flathead River
The Whitefish are running, and the bite is on! Try using 1/8oz jig heads with green body creatures.

Bitterroot Lake
Rainbows have been hitting good and stead. Drag your trolling flies behind planer boards in the late afternoon and into the evening for best results.
McGregor Lake

The Rainbows and lake trout are biting on Rapalas and Flicker Shads. Colder days in the in the afternoon seem to be the best times.
Lake Koocanusa

Rainbow Trout are hitting the trolling flies. Try late afternoon into the evening. Troll behind planer boards for best results. You can also try trolling slightly faster on calm water days when the bit is a bit slower.
