Lolo National Forest Plan Revision February Preview

Thank you to everyone who attended our January public engagement events – we had great participation for our first webinars, ranger chats, and revision team office hours. In February, we will continue to host events in anticipation of the first milestone in the Revision process: a draft Assessment in the spring of 2023.

Notably, we will be hosting our first in-person workshop: Common Ground in the Lolo! These workshops will be interactive sessions that foster information exchange around what you value broadly on the Lolo National Forest, and your take on its current status and trends. The workshop content is the same at all locations, and you can attend online or in-person. While the workshop itself will run from 6-8 p.m., in-person attendees are welcome to join us early to watch the Foundations for Revision webinar. Please register below to help us plan the events! Registered online participants will receive the link to join via email. Based on the registration responses, we will firm up the in-person event venues and share that information as soon as possible.

Thank you for your continuing feedback on our engagements, and we will continue to adjust to meet your needs as best that we can. Looking ahead to March, we anticipate events centered around Wild and Scenic Rivers, species diversity, and at-risk plant and animal species. I hope to see you at upcoming engagement events, and as always I am grateful for your time and interest. Best regards,
