Have you delayed wildlife viewing at Freezout Lake this spring in hopes of higher geese and swan numbers? Now’s the the time to go.
Montana FWP listed the geese count for Tuesday at 56,000. The swan count was 1,227.
“Continued good light goose and swan numbers coming through,” the migration tracker tool notes. “Numbers currently above average for this time of year…and delayed peak activitity compared to ‘normal’.”
