Incidental Catches at Home…

In case you didn’t know, April 7, 2024 was International Beaver Day, a holiday created in 2009 by Beavers Wetlands & Wildlife (B.W.W.,) a non-profit organization with members in the United States, Canada, and other countries. Some trappers in Montana celebrated the day by setting more traps and/or checking existing beaver traps.

If you are a trapper, you might have a variety of traps stored on your property, depending on what type of critters you get after.  Also, if you have kids, you know that kids can be very curious at times.  So, while some trappers may not have brought home beavers on International Beaver Day, there is still a chance that trappers could have trapped something — even if they didn’t have any traps set.
