Scott the Painter took a road trip with Mary out to Georgetown Lake and came back with a new ice report. Rainbow Bay was holding about 8 inches of solid ice, topped with a light layer of snow and a bit of slush. Denton’s Point was even thicker at nearly 10 inches, with similar conditions. According to anglers on the ice, the trout bite has been strong, while kokanee action has been hit-and-miss—mostly miss.
Good luck out there, folks!
