The Coyote Classic in Scobey proved to be a major success, according to their post on social media, thanks to strong participation and community support. Organizers extend their appreciation to everyone who took part in the hunt, purchased raffle tickets, and helped support the chapter. The event brought together hunters of all ages and experience levels for a memorable weekend.

In the Open Division, first place went to Chase Thompson, David Wold, and Chad Baumann with an impressive total of 59 coyotes. Second place was claimed by Dakota, Cooper, and Tuker Gaustad with 19 coyotes, edging out Todd Schnecman, Cody Rust, and Gavin French—also with 19 coyotes—by a tie-breaker determined by the heaviest coyote.

The Calling Division saw Whit Rush and Kris Keller take first place with 19 coyotes, followed by Charles and Chuck Marottek with five coyotes. Third place went to Billy Allstead, Tanner Solberg, and Russle Solberg with three coyotes.

In the Youth Division, Isaac Leininger, Blaine Thompson, and Torsten Lamb earned first place with two mice.

Side pot winners included Dakota, Cooper, and Tuker Gaustad in the Big Dog category with a coyote weighing 41.6 pounds, while the Small Dog side pot was won by Todd Schnecman, Cody Rust, and Gavin French with a coyote weighing 20.08 pounds.

Event organizers noted the strong turnout and enthusiasm as key factors in the success of the Coyote Classic and expressed appreciation to all who helped make the event possible.
