Summit, Slip, and Save: Two Hikers Air-Lifted from Mount Siyeh

Summit, Slip, and Save: Two Hikers Air-Lifted from Mount Siyeh

On Monday, July 6th, rescue teams successfully executed a daring hoist operation in Glacier National Park to save two stranded hikers on Mount Siyeh. After reaching the summit, the women were down-climbing when one suffered a significant arm injury during a fall, leaving them trapped in a precarious position. Search and rescue personnel quickly located the duo, safely hoisting both individuals into the aircraft despite the challenging terrain. The hikers were then flown to the Logan Pass Visitor Center, where they were transferred to the care of Glacier National Park Rangers.

Great work, Two Bear Air Rescue.
