Winter is doing what winter does best in Haugan. It’s bringing snow, cold temps, and a perfect excuse to fire up classic sleds. Winterfest 2026: Vintage Snowmobiling Extravaganza is rolling into town January 16–18, and it is shaping up to be a full weekend of nostalgia, horsepower, and good old-fashioned snowmobile fun.
The weekend kicks off Friday night with a casual Meet & Greet from 7–9 p.m. at the world-famous $50,000 Silver Dollar Bar, where the vintage sled talk will flow freely.
Saturday is the main event. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Haugan hosts the Northwest’s largest vintage snowmobile show, complete with a timed agility course and plenty of Snow-Moxie on display. If the machines don’t steal the show, the vintage fashion show that follows just might, because what is a classic sled without the right retro gear?
Sunday wraps things up with a vintage snowmobile ride leaving Haugan at 9:30 a.m. Riders will cruise a scenic 16-mile loop to the Montana Bar in Saltese and back, returning by early afternoon.
Winterfest takes place just off I-90 at 16 I-90, Haugan, MT, making it easy to find and hard to forget. It doesn’t matter if you are bringing a sled, cheering from the sidelines, or just soaking in the atmosphere, Winterfest 2026 promises a weekend that celebrates winter the way it should be with a whole lot of vintage fun!
