The following update is from Tongue River Reservoir State Park:
The warm weather and wind has been hard on the ice. The edges/shorelines are thin but the ice is still overall 4-5″. However, puddles form on the top and re-freeze. Some ridges and possible open water.
We have a HUT slipping into the ice at the south end.
At the time of this post, it is snowing. I would use extreme caution if you want to fish.
