If anyone has been looking for a reason to channel their inner Robin Hood (or Katniss Everdeen), the Broken Arrow Archery Club is providing the perfect excuse. Archery enthusiasts can dust off their gear, because the club is taking over EOB Ranch at 369 Lower Deer Creek Rd Big Timber, MT for its annual 3-D Archery Shoot.
This event is far from standing in a line shooting at boring paper targets. Attendees can expect an immersive, 40-target realistic hunting course designed to test actual skills—plus extra novelty and distance shoots to determine who really earns the bragging rights.
Here is everything people need to know to make a weekend out of it.
When & Where to Aim
The event kicks off the weekend of June 13th and 14th, 2026.
- Saturday, June 13th: 7:00 AM until dark (Raffles happen throughout the day)
- Sunday, June 14th: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (More raffles, though winners must be present to claim prizes)
Getting There: Drivers can head about 7 miles East of Big Timber on Highway 10, then turn South on Lower Deer Creek Road. After traveling about 4 miles on the gravel, visitors will spot the registration canopy on the right. Signs will also be posted at the turn-off to keep everyone on the right track.
