Before You Head Out, Head to Settings on Your Phone

Heads-up from Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks: before you throw the gear in the truck and chase that muley, show your mapping apps a little love. They are sending an important reminder to hunters to “clear the cache of your online mapping tools and update your offline maps.” BMA boundaries got some updates, and your phone may be holding on to last season’s version. A quick refresh clears up blurry maps, frozen displays, and all that “why won’t this thing load” drama.

Then do yourself a favor and scope out the FWP Hunt Planner before you go: https://fwp.mt.gov/gis/maps/huntPlanner/?species=muledeer…
