What a hunt! This incredible whitetail didn’t make it easy. The evening before the harvest, the buck stepped out at roughly 250 yards—just minutes after legal shooting light had ended, leaving no ethical shot opportunity. The next morning, he appeared again at about 150 yards weaving through the timber, but thick cover kept a clean shot from happening.
According to Montana Whitetails Inc., ersistence paid off. Later that day, the hunter finally got his chance at 310 yards and made it count. The stunning 6×7 buck officially scored 151 6/8 inches, an absolute trophy in anyone’s book.
A huge congratulations to this hunter!
