Move over, seasoned tournament pros!! There’s a new angler on the scene, and her current fishing grounds are right on the living room rug.
There is an absolutely delightful video making the waves on Facebook Reels from user @Wal10sontheyak that perfectly captures the magic of early childhood learning. In the clip, a proud dad watches his youngster identify each of her stuffed animals, which happen to be types of fish. Instead of just pointing and screaming generic toddler words like “fishy,” she proceeds to rattle off their exact species.
Now, regarding the burning question: Do her mom and/or dad fish?
You don’t even need to guess on this one—the evidence is right there in the video’s description!
The proud dad explicitly captioned the video: “Teaching her about fish started as something fun… now she’s lining them up and naming every one of them. I don’t know who was smiling more, her or me. ❤️🎣 Future tournament partner in the making #prouddad #fatherdaughter #fishing.”
Even without the caption, the forensic evidence in the room speaks for itself:
So, here’s to the tiny ichthyologist ruling the living room lake. With a dad like that guiding the way, she’s well on her way to becoming a force to be reckoned with on the water!
