Looks like the locals at Tongue River Marina just upgraded their standard wildlife lineup—moving “From geese to black bear! We have it all!” In classic summer fashion, a black bear decided to crash the campground party, casually making its way through the area before being escorted out like a guest who overstayed last call. Don’t sweat it, though; as the marina team noted, “The bear was peaceful walked out of the park by trained staff and should move on to its next adventure outside of the campground!”
Just a friendly reminder: this is prime bear country, folks! Always stay bear-aware—keep your food locked up, your trash secured, and your eyes peeled. If you happen to spot a furry intruder on your next trip, don’t try to snap a selfie. Leave it to the experts, contact park staff immediately, and let our heavy-footed friends pass through in peace.
