The Bureau of Land Management will temporarily close several recreation sites in the Chain of Lakes area throughout the summer as contractors replace outdated potable water and irrigation systems to provide more dependable water service to the public.  

Due to high water, the Flathead National Forest has implemented an emergency closure order for Blankenship Southwest (also known as Blankenship Bridge area).

The Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation (BMWF) is excited to announce its inaugural Wilderness 101 Family Campout taking place June 26th-28th, 2026.

Due to work being conducted for major campground and infrastructure upgrades and repairs to the Delmoe Lake Campground and day use area, some areas and will be temporarily closed as the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest improves both access to, and the enjoyment of, the public in the area of Delmoe Lake.

The Flathead National Forest has released a proposal to reconstruct the wastewater treatment system serving Holland Lake Campground’s bay loop, the RV dump station, and Holland Lake Lodge. Review project documents online and submit input within 30 days; an in-person and virtual information session is set for March 9, 2026 in Condon, Montana.
